How TMA works

From search to registration: what you do, what the representative does and what TMA does.

Passo dopo passo

1. Search

   Under “Search”, see whether there are trademarks or companies with the same or a similar name: the trademarks of Albania and Kosovo, and the registered companies (QKB and ARBK). The search informs you — it does not guarantee the registration; the office decides.

2. Apply

   Fill in the 9-step form. The AI class agent proposes the classes, and the name check shows you very similar trademarks and companies. Save it as a draft whenever you like.

3. The representative

   A licensed representative files the trademark: your representative for that country, or the one TMA assigns.

4. Pay

   You see every line of the cost and the total with the transaction fee; you pay by card or by bank transfer — the same amount.

5. Sign the power of attorney

   After payment, the power of attorney (POA) reaches you by e-mail. Sign it and send it within 30 days.

6. Follow it

   The representative files the trademark within 2 calendar days of payment, and you are notified of every step until registration.

7. Protect it

   With monitoring, TMA notifies you when a very similar trademark or company appears; you start an opposition with one click.

Regole

• The application is sent for filing only once it is paid.
• TMA sets the prices; you pay only within the platform.
• You have one representative of your own for each country (Albania, Kosovo); they become yours only when they accept your request, or when you accept their invitation.
