trademark.al (TMA) was built for one purpose: so that searching for, registering and protecting a trademark in Albania and in Kosovo can be done in one place, with clear rules and with licensed representatives. Here is what you will find on the platform.
Search in the public registers
A single search across the trademark registers of Albania (DPPI) and Kosovo (KIPA) and the business registers (QKB and ARBK). Every trademark has its own public page with its status, Nice classes and dates. In the dashboard, Magic Search lets you search by field – name, number, owner, representative, goods, NIPT or NUI – and export the results. The search compares names; there is no search by logo.
Applying with licensed representatives
The 9-step form guides you from the territory to payment. The AI class agent proposes the Nice classes with the official WIPO 2026 terms, while the name check shows you very similar trademarks and companies before you pay. The trademark is filed by a licensed representative – yours for that country or the one assigned by TMA – within 2 calendar days of payment.
Clear payments
Before payment you see the office fee, representation, the administration fee and the transaction fee. Pay by card (UPay) or by bank transfer: the same total. Prices are set by TMA and payments are made only within the platform.
Follow-up until registration
Every trademark has its own page with the application status and the official status, the history, the documents, the power of attorney and the conversation with the representative. Notifications reach you in the bell and, where relevant, by e-mail.
Post-registration services
Renewal, opposition, transfer of ownership, licence, change of details, international registration through Madrid and many more, grouped by stage of the trademark's life, at a price set by TMA.
Monitoring and alerts
Your trademarks are compared with the trademarks of Albania and Kosovo and with QKB and ARBK companies. Every finding is reviewed by TMA, and approved alerts are sent every morning, usually at 06:00. From the alert, you start the opposition with one click. More in Trademark monitoring.
