Power of attorney (POA)

What the power of attorney is, how you sign it and how you send it — for Albania and for Kosovo.

Adım adım

  1. It arrives by e-mail

    After payment, the power of attorney (PDF) comes attached to the confirmation e-mail. It is in the name of the representative who files the trademark (firm, address, licence).

  2. Sign it

    Download it and sign it. As an individual, you sign the power of attorney before a notary.

  3. Albania: post the original

    For Albania (DPPI) the original is sent by post, to the address shown on the power of attorney page. Then press “Confirm that I posted the original” (the tracking number is optional).

  4. Kosovo: a scan is enough

    For Kosovo a scanned power of attorney is enough: you upload it on the power of attorney page and no post is needed.

  5. Follow it

    The power of attorney moves through: Pending → Sent to the applicant → Posting confirmed → Original received. The representative and TMA update the status.

Kurallar

  • You send the power of attorney within 30 days — you declare this in the application form.
  • If the trademark moves to another representative before filing, the power of attorney is regenerated in their name.
