My representative

How to appoint, change or release your representative for Albania and Kosovo, and how to accept an invitation.

1. Open “My representative”

   Under “Profile” → “My representative” you see, for each country, whether you have a representative.

2. Appoint a representative

   Choose a public representative with a verified licence (filter by country or search by name), write a message and press “Send the request”. The representative accepts or declines it; you are notified either way.

3. Accept an invitation

   If a representative invites you by e-mail, the invitation appears here: “Accept the invitation” or “Decline”.

4. Request the release

   Press “Request release from the representative”; when they represent you in both countries, choose which one. The release takes effect when the representative accepts it; if they do not answer, TMA can accept it.

5. Cancel a request

   A request that is still pending is cancelled with “Cancel the request”.

Kurallar

• One representative of your own for each country. For a country where you have one, first request their release.
• The appointment takes effect only when the representative accepts your request (or you accept their invitation); the release, when the representative accepts it — or TMA, when they do not answer. The representative may also end the relationship; you get a notification.
• Paid trademarks that are in progress stay with the representative who was paid for them until they are finished.
• Without a representative of your own, the representative TMA assigns for that country takes on the application.
