Searching trademarks and companies

Magic Search in your account: the country, the office, the search field, the filters and the exports.

Step by step

1. Open “Magic Search”

   Once signed in, open it from the menu or with the “Magic Search” button on the Dashboard. The search stays inside your account.

2. Choose the country and the office

   Albania: DPPI (trademarks), QKB (businesses) or TMA (your applications). Kosovo: KIPA (trademarks), ARBK (businesses) or TMA. Each office shows how many results it has for the same search.

3. Choose the field

   Search by name, by application, registration or publication number, by TMA's or the office's reference, owner, representative, goods, NIPT/NUI or activity — or “All fields”. The text found is highlighted in the results.

4. Filter and open

   Narrow the results by Nice class, status, year, county or municipality. A trademark or a business from a register opens in a side panel; your own application opens on its page.

5. Export

   Export a register's results to CSV, PDF or Word (up to 1,000 rows).

Rules

• As a visitor you have 5 different searches per session; with an account you search without limit.
• For Albania, the register's public trademarks are shown.
• The search compares names — there is no search by logo.

Tips

• The name check in the application form (step 2) makes this comparison by itself, including active companies.
